As teams grow and roles become increasingly specialized, it's easy to lose sight of the important but different roles UI and content play in the overall user experience (UX). Content writers, front-end developers and IT staff are increasingly at odds over which elements should take precedence: Is content the most important element or is the environment in which the content resides more crucial? Content and user interfaces both play important roles that shape and transform the experiences of readers, users and customers. I love the simplicity and accessibility of this example; everyone has experienced that magical moment during a great meal when you realize the conversation and atmosphere are every bit as delicious as the food.
